Portfolio Overview
While working on my bachelor's in aerospace engineering at Auburn, I was engaged in the classroom and in numerous additional areas. From honors projects to undergraduate research to personal projects, I have been very fortunate to learn and develop a well-rounded understanding of the engineering process.
Bolstered by countless hours solving real world engineering challenges with tangible outcomes, my engineering degree from Auburn is the foundation from which I understand the practical world.
I will graduate very soon, on May 11, 2025.
I went to Jacksonville High School and graduated as the Valedictorian of the class of 2020. Jacksonville was a medium size public school and my graduating class was 119.
Starting in May 2022, I have been working as an employee of Auburn University under contract with The Boeing Company to provide purchased service engineering support on 5 different Boeing projects. Since 2024, I have also been providing project management support for a military commercial derivative project. As a result, I have extensive experience with real world engineering functions and using relevant software packages.
One of the aspects of my portfolio that I am most proud of is my truly extensive practical experience. Since the age of 11, I have been working on countless different engineering oriented projects. As I have advanced in my understanding, so have the difficulty of the projects I have undertaken. Recently, I completed my own gas turbine engine. This self-funded project was one that involved not only computational modeling, but engineering design and skill in numerous disciplines of fabrication.

Another important part of my life is staying physically fit as I believe that is a key aspect of having a balanced life and sound mind. While I played a variety of sports in high school, during college I found that my true passion was mountain biking. I joined Auburn University's team. Over the course of progressing over several years I raced students from other colleges and universities all over the country and ranked highly at national level races in the downhill and dual slalom racing categories.
The camaraderie of the mountain biking team lead to several close friendships with similarly engineering-minded people. I recently incorporated a startup in this field (Ascension Racing Systems LLC), with a focus on engineering-first products and a forward thinking approach to ergonomics, manufacturing methods and performance. While public sales have not yet begun, initial testing has been very promising and we have prototyped a diverse product range.
